A frozen mudslide is a boozy drink made of vodka and creamy liqueurs blended up with ice cream and served as a thick, spiked milkshake. Chocolate, a later addition to the long-established traditional mudslide, is drizzled into the glass, lining the blended mixture with streaks that achieve a “mudslide” effect.

The classic cocktail is traditionally shaken and served on the rocks, but frozen mudslides have taken over many menus, replacing the original. Now, enjoying a sugary, frozen mudslide is the new standard.
