This is not your mom’s food blog. Pocket Bar Guide is for every aspiring home bartender, or for the seasoned professional aiming to refine and extend their craft.

With a traditionalist mindset that leans heavily on a drink’s provenance, Pocket Bar Guide does not ignore history. Recipes are given and archived in their purest form, celebrating the intentions of the original creators — but we encourage experimentation based on the drinker’s preference. Modifications are always noted. Histories of liqueurs, spirits, and more are cited from any available source material when possible.
